The Scene begins with Maria at the chalk board, reminding us that Larek and Brody are the same person, Larek the alien, then onto Sean, and Max is getting close to Tess, and before Alex died. That the key to everything is in the scene we will see.

At the UFO Centre, Max goes to the office looking for Brody, who is in his office. Brody acts strange when he answers, and after sending Max off with a task to do since he still has 3 hours left on his shift, he puts on a Virtual Reality head gear set, running a simulation for NO. Talks about his 3 days of missing time. Trying to simulate and recreate what happened He remembers the room, 3 men, and 3 women. He can't remember what was said. He does eventually remember first Nicolas, and then he remembers that Max was there. The whole system shorts out, and he falls down unconscious. The entire town is in darkness. It is totally unclear to me what caused the blackout

Max comes back, looking at the fuse box. Tess comes into the main room into the dark Centre, with a package for Max. She acts upset when he wonders why she is giving him a gift - a black v necked sweater. Threatens to give it to Kyle. He apologizes, thanks her, and turns on the emergency power. Larek comes out from behind the walls - with a gun. Max calls him Larek, and thus Brody knows that Max must be an alien. Larek shoots at him, and Max uses his power to repel the bullet. Brody saw him use his power, so he knows he is an alien.

Brody mentions that the security cameras were on backup and so have filmed what happened, which he has on a CD now. Brody/Larek is totally confused - doesn't know who he is, what he is, and wants them to tell him. Amy, Sean, and Maria come in to deliver some "George W is an alien" t-shirts, and get to the bottom of the stairs before they realize what is going on.

Deputy Hanson tells Jim Valenti that there is a situation, but Valenti reminds Hanson that he is not Sheriff anymore. Larek tells Max that he knows Max is Zan, and he wants the truth or he will send the tape to the FBI. Sean asks what is going on, Amy just thinks Brody is nuts. Larek makes Max tape up the hands of Maria, Amy, and Sean. Every step Max takes, Tess stays right by his side.

Maria's cell goes off, she convinces Brody she must answer or people will be suspicious. It is Liz, and Maria tells her she will be late and that she has been thinking about the menu. That they should take pepper jack off the menu.

Tess tells Max that she will use her power to try to get them out of there - but Larek's memories are weird flashes. The flashes are: Brody in NY, Lonnie and Rath, Max, Max over and over interspersed with Brody walking down the street in MITC, and then... Tess - her face silvered as she concentrates trying to warp him). Larek tells her not to use her mind powers on him. She tells him that Brody's mind is too full for her to be able to do anything. Larek asks him what happened, to tell him the truth... how does he know this is the tritium amplification generator and that turning it on means he can't use his powers anymore and he turns it on, knocking Tess and Max off their feet.

Liz is still trying to figure things out. She did not understand the message Maria left. Max and Isabel want to leave, because they are convinced that the power will be out the rest of the evening. They leave, on their way to get Max (the burgers tasted bad because Isabel tried to use her powers to cook them).

Michael and Isabel come to the UFO centre, coming down the stairs when Larek starts shooting at them, but Michael tries to use his powers to repel the bullets - but can't. All of a sudden, he remembers everything about how Max met Tess, Tess has her eyes closed, appears to be concentrating. She looks happy later on as they are discussing this but she also looks, odd. Max has no memory of it, and tells him so. Tess acts upset. Larek insists they loved each other. Max says he is wrong, they were not in love, never were. Tess looks upset.

Jim is watching as Deputy Hanson checks the doors on the UFO centre. Hanson knocks, so Valenti calls him on his cell. Tells him to come up on the balcony with them, which he thinks is safer than having Hanson jiggling doors down there. Jim tells him he thinks some people might be trapped in the UFO centre. He convinces him to get to patrolling... there will be problems since all the lights are out.

Michael cooks burgers and fries using his powers. Valenti works with Liz - putting a small camera on her coat lapel, so they can see what is going on in the UFO centre. Liz takes the food over. She hits a buzzer, and Brody/Larek hits a buzzer, which lets her in the door.

Max, and the rest are waiting. When Liz comes down stairs, she looks at Max, Tess and the others. Larek pays her as if there is nothing going on, thanking her for the food. He lets her go, starts eating. The food tastes funny, so he is convinced the aliens had something to do with it. Larek grabs Liz, really roughly, pointing the gun at her. He marches her over, past Max who tries to stand up, but Larek just pushes him down. When he passes Sean, Sean trips him. When he falls, the gun falls out of his hands, and Sean tries to get to it. Larek gets control, and pushes Sean away. He walks off.

Sean tells Larek that Liz is not an alien, she is just an innocent girl, and to leave her alone. Valenti calls Larek, asking how things are. Larek storms off, yelling in the phone the entire time. Sean tells Liz to get his knife out of his back pocket. She cuts him loose, and he goes to attack Larek. Max yells "No!" and Larek turns around to meet Sean. Sean ends up being stabbed, and Liz screams his name.

Amy and the others are taking care of Sean, and Liz goes over to ask Max to heal him, and when he refuses, she says it was his fault so he should. Max refuses again, and then tells her he lost his powers since the device was activated. And he says Sean might have killed Brody, who is a good man and that this isn't his fault. Liz says "so its okay for Sean to get stabbed?" and Max says no of course not. Liz goes back to the DeLuca Group. Max watches jealously... hurt perhaps.

Valenti sees that Sean was hurt, wants to get in. Hanson appears again, realizing there was something wrong with Valenti warning him off the UFO centre. Hanson calls in backup.

Tess and Max are sitting together, and Liz and the DeLuca's are sitting together. Liz and Max keep looking at each other. Tess says to Max that he is still in love with Liz; he says it is hard to describe what he feels for Liz. Tess says that is what they used to have together; that what Larek said is true.

Liz is with the others and Sean. Sean asks Liz for a date when this is all over, which amazes Maria who can't believe he is on the make even when hurt. She reminds Liz she is involved with someone. Liz looks over to see Tess and Max together. And Tess smirks when Max says he has to do something to get them out of this.

Kyle heard on the radio that Hanson called in all sorts of backup, and are about to story the centre. Valenti sends Kyle after some blueprints from the library, so they can activate metal doors so the police can't get in.

Max goes up to Larek, tells him that all that he said is true. He is an alien, king of another planet, Tess is his wife. That what he remembers is true. Larek asks him if they are all alien. Max says surviving until they return to their home planets. Larek is stunned. Amy thinks he is just playing along with them. Max tells Larek he should put down the gun. He looks over and sees the camera on Liz, walks over and points the gun right at her, threatening to kill Liz, who is cowering on the floor.

Outside, Hanson and tons of police are outside the UFO centre, Max and the others are standing around, hands now free, they see the VR headset, and figure out that Larek was wearing it when this all happened. They decide they have to get Larek to turn the pentagon off, and Maria goes to talk to him.

Kyle brings back the blueprints, and Michael and Isabel take off to do that. Maria is talking to Larek, who doesn't remember her. She is telling him about how she delivers lunch to him every day, and they enjoy it, both of them. She tells him that he is a wonderful person, talks about his daughter. She shows him a picture of him with his daughter, but he doesn't remember her. She tells him that if he will turn off the pentagon, Max can heal him.

Michael and Isabel find the opening - turn off a switch, which is supposed to allow them to close heavy doors, so the cops can't get in there.

Sean is now up, and he and Amy and Max are standing by the door worrying about Maria out in the main room with Larek. Sean is trying to find a way though the security system so they can get out.

Brody comes in, grabs Max, and takes him back into the area where Maria is. Maria gets him to turn off the pentagon, and then Max heals him. He has visions of Brody/Larek. And pictures of Maxand Tess from last year. Brody wakes up, they tell him he was up ducted. Tells Brody it was all a big misunderstanding. Sean says he should be put away. Maria tells her mother that they can't let Brody go to jail, since he has a daughter reliant on him. Amy won't back down - because she knows how dangerous he is. Max sees that the cops are about ready to get in.

Sean asks Liz why he shouldn't tell the cops, she says because then she'll go out with him. Tess mind warps Amy - and all of a sudden, Amy has forgotten anything. Tess tells Max not to worry; Amy won't remember any of it. She acts a bit disdainful about it.

The police break in, they tell them that they were trapped, and thank goodness they got them all out. Jim comes in, and Amy greets him. Larek pulls out the CD, which had the pictures of Max using his power on them. Max grabs it, and he and Tess go to join the other aliens by the door and they all leave. Liz stares at Sean, and then walks off. Hanson stares at Sean for quite a while, and Sean then offers to get him one of the T-shirts he has on.

Brody is at a table, and Maria goes up to talk to Brody. She gives him back the picture of he and his daughter they are going along with the story that he was abducted. Says he felt that Maria was they're helping him.

Max crawls in the window at the Valenti's he looks odd. He tells her that when he healed Brody, he saw flashes. Says he remembers Tess. She cries, and he reaches out to brush her tears away tenderly.
